Where are you based?

We are an Australian based business.

Where do you ship to?

At the moment we only ship our products Australia-wide but worldwide shipping is coming soon!

How much is shipping?

We currently charge a $10 flat rate for standard delivery and $15 flat rate for express delivery. We offer free standard shipping for orders over $100.

If you are based in the South of Sydney we offer free pick up. Please get in touch for more details.

Shipping Times

All orders are processed within 2-5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

You will receive a confirmation email or text message once your order has been shipped.

For special holidays (Easter, Halloween, Christmas etc) there may be a delay in shipping items.

Some of our kits are recommended for 3+ all the way to adult and some start at 5+, it depends on the specific product. Adult help and supervision is recommended when necessary. Children may need assistance with the ingredients and/or activities.

Potion Kits

What age are your potion kits suitable for?

How do I use my potion kit?

Remove all the ingredients from the pack and follow all instructions on the potion cards. You may need a few bowls if you’d like to spread out all your ingredients for easy use and save some for next time.

Is it safe to dispose my potions in the garden?

Yes it is! All our ingredients are non toxic and eco friendly and the glitter we use is either natural or eco- friendly so it won’t hurt your grass or plants!

Are your potion kits ingredients environmentally friendly?

All our ingredients are non toxic and eco friendly. We mainly use ingredients found in the kitchen pantry and out in nature. All glitter used is either natural (mica) or eco-friendly (biodegradable) glitter.

All of your ingredients are environmentally friendly but what about your packaging?

We use PET plastic test tubes, bottles and biodegradable cellophane bags for our potion ingredients and we try our best to use materials and packaging that are environmentally friendly and can be reused once the activity is over (although it’s not possible 100% of the time due to some of the fragile items that we ship).

We use boxes for larger orders that often come from the delivery of our raw materials. This is why sometimes you might find that the boxes we use are not the prettiest and may be a bit random when you receive your order.

We love doing our bit to try help save the trees we love and fairies love!

Do your potion kits contain allergens?

Some of our potion ingredients may at times contain allergen products such as gluten. Please get in touch if you’d like to learn more about our ingredients.

Our potion products are prepared in a kitchen that may contain traces of nuts, eggs, gluten, dairy, fish and other allergens. While we have a high standard of care in our preparation, cross contamination may occur.

Fairy Gardens

What age are your fairy garden items for?

When purchasing for children please consider their age and stage of development. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to gauge the suitability of our fairy garden kits, sets and accessories as some might include wire points, sharp edges and small objects such as pebbles, gems, tiny ornaments and jars of glitter which could be a choking hazard for young children. Please note our products are not recommended for three years of age and under unless specified.

Where is the best place to build my fairy garden?

We recommend placing accessories in partly sheltered areas so that they have a bit more protection from the weather. Areas with filtered and indirect sunlight are best.

How do I best take care of my fairy garden?

Each product listed on the little hearts and souls website comes with a description of the material it is made from (wood, resin, metal, polystone) and a recommendation for indoor and/or outdoor suitability.

Solar fairy houses are designed for indoor and outdoor use and need to be positioned in a place which receives direct sunlight for most of the day in order for the lights to charge. Help protect the resin exterior with a coating of colourless water sealer once every 12 months (see further below). We recommend placing accessories in partly sheltered areas so that they have a bit more protection from the weather. Areas with filtered and indirect sunlight are best. We recommend all fairy garden items be brought inside during extreme weather (storms).

Our manufacturers recommend coating resin, polystone and wooden products with a coating of colourless water sealer once every 12 months You can check your fairy garden items at the change of the seasons, clean then spray as necessary. This will increase the life span of your fairy garden items and help provide extra protection against harsh elements. Clear spray varnish can be purchased from your local hardware store.

Metal items will rust if they are exposed to moisture which will add to the items quaint charm. If you wish to remove rust, sand the area back and give it a new coat with spray paint. You may even like to revamp it with a change of colour.

Please note that little hearts and souls cannot guarantee exact colour matching and details of handmade items – this makes them all the more interesting, quirky and magical!

Damaged Goods

We take all due care to ensure that your order is packaged and delivered safe and sound however; if your order has been damaged during shipment, please contact us within 7 working days of receiving your package. little hearts and souls will replace or refund any damaged or faulty products and pay for return postage on receipt and evaluation of the goods by little hearts and souls. Unfortunately, returns will not be accepted for a change of mind or if items are damaged whilst the items are being unpacked or used. Our aim is to resolve any damaged orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. In the case of discontinued stock, we will replace your item with another item of equivalent value.
